Mosul and Cizre rebel
Mosul, IraqThe Mongol protectorate and ruler of Mosul, Badr al-Din's sons sided with the Mamluks and rebelled against the rule of Hulagu in 1261. This led to the destruction of the city state and the Mongols finally suppressed the rebellion in 1265.
